
Holland Lop's
Holland Lop's are a small breed and are generally calm, they love attention and are very sweet, though SOME does can be easily startled and shy. When showing Holland Lop's, junior bucks and does, under 6 months of age must weigh at least 2 pounds. Senior bucks and does, over 6 months of age should weigh no more then 4 pounds. Their bodies are short, massive and thick set. The shoulder's and hindquarter's should be wide, with the hindquarter's being broad and well rounded. The head should be wide and set high and close to the shoulder's, with the muzzle looking flattened when viewed from the side. The ear's should be thick, well furred, wide and rounded at the tips, and extending no more then 1" below the jaw line. The fur is glossy, dense and uniform in length. The fur should gradually roll back into it's normal position when it is stroked from the hindquarter's to the shoulder's. Holland Lop groups are: agouti, broken, pointed-white, self, shaded, tan, ticked and wide-band. They are shown in 2 classifications...solid pattern and broken pattern.
